Tibor’s Story

“…we need some balm from the Bible to heal our wounds…”

Continuing in the theme of Hungarian broadcasts, this week’s Ministry Moments comes from a Hungarian-speaking family living in Slovakia. This letter was sent to Budapest, referencing the broadcasts of MERA, our Partners in Hungary.

We are listeners of your radio program for three years now. I can write this letter joyfully because we prefer the radio every night rather than the television. After the broadcasting, we talk about the message and find out how to use it in the life of our family or in our church.

“They repeat that
they don’t need Jesus”

This interpretation of the Bible provides me with a clear knowledge. I have recommended this program to friends in other congregations as well.

When I meet unbelievers, they make fun of my faith. They repeat that they don’t need Jesus and that they have a good life without him. I know it is not true. That’s why we need some balm from the Bible to heal our wounds in the daily fights.

Sincerely,
K. Tibor and family
