From a Small, Dark Sell
“It is from a small dark cell that I am writing you this letter,” writes Nasih (Not his real name), a prisoner from Eritrea. After committing his crime, Nasih describes himself as feeling “hopeless, helpless and frustrated.” He writes of a heavy guilt that weighed him down and left him feeling suicidal. He believed that there was no forgiveness from God for him. Little did Nasih know – the man in the very next cell knew the Saviour who had more than enough grace to cover Nasih’s sin, the Saviour who died for Nasih’s sin, and paid the penalty. They got to chatting one day, and slowly but surely his new friend unfolded salvation history to him and introduced him to Jesus Christ and told him about the radio ministry. Over time, Nasih came to embrace Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour. Today he is a changed man. He writes, "I am now a free person – free of sin, free of a guilty conscience, free from hatred and skepticism. Though my body is confined in this small, dark room, my soul and spirit are not restricted. My spirit is free to communicate with the Saviour! The Holy Spirit is with me all the time, dwelling inside of me, giving me light in the darkness."
Pray that Nasih would share the grace he’s found with others around him.

Year of the Roma Music Collection
Ministry project
One of TWR’s most exciting ministries is our outreach to the Roma (also known as Gypsies). The Roma people are among Europe’s most hated minorities with a long, clouded history. The Roma population, up to 15 million living in Europe today, tends to suffer disproportionately from higher rates of poverty, unemployment, illiteracy, crime, disease and extremely poor living conditions. Consequently, the Roma have been a persecuted and rejected people group for centuries. Living in such hopeless circumstances, these precious people need to hear of the eternal hope that is found in a relationship with Jesus Christ alone.
TWR is pleased to participate in the European Union's "Decade of Roma Inclusion" (2005-2015) by designatiing 2009 as TWR's "Year of the Roma." When you make a donation of $20 or more, we will send you this this special collection of Roma music. Proceeds from this compact disc project will go toward our Roma ministries in Central East Europe. Your gift today will help TWR continue its outreach to this unique people group who is too often forgotten.
